Lion Food @ 漂泊--浮雲永恆的歸宿

In the fall of 2002, my family had a trip to The Guadalupe Mountain National Park in the southern part of Texas, USA.
The mountains are capped with snow and the scenery is gorgeous.
We were overwhelming by the beauty of the Nature.

I suggested that we should take a walk in spite of the low temperature.
While we walked along a trail I found a sign read "watch out for mountain lions."
I became a little bit worried and told me family that here might have mountain lion and we must be watchful even thought it was little chance for a lion to show up in the late fall.

My little Venia, at a age of 5, asked me what would happen if a lion did appear?
I thought of Disney story -- Lion King and told her " it would seize you and brought you back to its nest as a queen."

Then she asked again.
"What would happen to Mom?"
"Oh, she would be brought back as a maid" i said.

She still didn't give up and tossed the third question.
"Then what would happed to Leo?"
I didn't have any idea at the right moment, so i paused for a while.
And then i said "he would become lion food."

She bursted into gales of laughter.
Ever since, it has becomed a funny joke in my family.
